Engineering Mobility in the EU: Cobots Module 2024

From 07.10.2024 to 18.10.2024, the EMEU Cobot Mod­ule took place again at the Voca­tion­al School for Met­al — Design — Mechatronics.

We wel­comed eight stu­dents from our part­ner schools in Fin­land, Spain, Slo­va­kia and the Czech Repub­lic.

They learned how to pro­gram cobots in teams of two togeth­er with local trainees from the fields of mecha­tron­ics and indus­tri­al mechanics.

In the mod­ule lan­guage Eng­lish, they went through var­i­ous learn­ing sit­u­a­tions that focused on machine load­ing, pal­letiz­ing work­pieces, glu­ing and weld­ing as well as safe inter­ac­tion between humans and robots.

The mod­ule was accom­pa­nied by com­pa­ny and muse­um vis­its as well as oth­er events aimed at strength­en­ing inter­cul­tur­al skills.
